My paintings celebrate the magic and mystery of nature, I love the symbolism around birds, particularly the mystique of corvids. This painting is of a rook, they symbolise mystery, wisdom, intelligence and the link between the material and spiritual world. In some cultures they symbolise death but death symbolises rebirth. The rook in this painting is friendly and seems to be asking a question, to which he wishes the answer to be yes!
